Good morning. My name is Chris
and I am a solutions consultant
at Bloom Reach
today. We'll be looking at the very common
issue and occurrence that a lot of us
will have seen ourselves as users
when we arrive at a category or
search page
to engage with the product. We find interesting
are we to find once we hit the product page
that the product
is actually out of stock?
This is one of the most frustrating experiences the
customer can have
in a worst case, the customer will be so frustrated,
they will leave your website
and go somewhere else to find a retailer
that does stop the item.
So how do we account
for changes in stock levels without
needing to to manually
change every single search and category
page to reflect these stock levels?
Blore possesses a number
of A I based merchandizing
and performance ranking tools that are constantly
in motion.
These can be set up at a search
or category level
and can be set up to define
whatever ranking rules.
A business needs.
Any ranking rule can be created
from any product attribute within
the product data provider to boom reach
this includes such information
as stock
where a customer wants to create a ranking rule
to exclude all out of stock products. It
is as simple
as creating this rule at either
a search specific level, a category
specific level
or even site wide. In order
to impact every single search page
and every single category page.
In this example, it's likely that
a out of stock rule would be
set up at a site wide level in order
to influence every single search and category
page from there on.
You can see, I can now choose my stock
attribute
and easily create a include or exclude
rule based on this value. I'm
now going to say only where
stock levels equal true.
Would I like to include
equally? I could say only where stock levels
are false. Would I like to exclude? There's
a number of ways this pro this product data can
be used to either boost or completely
hide products
based on their product attributes.
We have now chosen
to only include products where
stock levels are equal. True.
I can easily
preview any changes I've made and how
it influences my category and search page experience
after making this change.
And if I am concerned
that pushing out of stock products away from
my category and so its pages will will
create worse customer experiences.
I can even directly A B test this
rule if I want to,
this can be done for any changes
to any attribute based rule one makes
them in the merchandizing tool.
As soon as this is put live,
every single category page
and search page
will now automatically
re rank and hide any
out of stock products. As soon as
Bloom, we received this information
from you as a brand or
retailer.
This is how we can continuously
update every single part of the
website to exclude out
of stock products
based on the product availability. We receive from
customers.
No more pages with out of stock
products listed. No more frustrating customer
experiences.
This is how we can help you solve these issues.
We welcome any questions. Please let
us know if you need any more more information on these
cases. Thank you.
