Sustainable E-Commerce
At Bloomreach, we’re dedicated to making e-commerce more sustainable. Our commitment encompasses our own sustainability pledge and extends to empowering our customers in their sustainability journeys. We aim to lead by example, offering thought leadership on sustainable practices and developing innovative products that promote sustainability. By sharing best practices and collaborating with our customers and the broader ecosystem, we work to establish new sustainability standards in e-commerce and address the challenges of fast fashion. Our Information Security and Privacy mission is to safeguard the confidentiality, privacy, integrity, and availability of all data at Bloomreach. We are committed to enabling Bloomreach’s growth by providing strategic data-driven insights while upholding the highest standards of security, compliance, and risk management to protect our company’s assets, data, and reputation. We foster a strong security culture, providing Security and Privacy Awareness Training for all internal stakeholders. Environmental
Carbon Footprint
In 2023, we produced 2,975 t CO2e (3.3 t CO2e/employee). 97% of our carbon footprint comes from indirect emissions (mainly cloud servers & business travel). Our carbon footprint was calculated in line with GHG Protocol (Scope 1-3).
Carbon Offsetting
We are offsetting our business travel emissions by partnering with TravelPerk (our travel management system) through investing in VERA-certified offsetting projects.
Workplace Sustainability
Our workplace sustainability efforts emphasize employee education, operations mainly in buildings with green certifications, donating eliminated but functional laptops to charities/schools, and sourcing our employee merchandise items from eco-friendly materials.

We believe that a truly engaged workforce is the cornerstone of innovation and excellence. We nurture transparent and open communication through regular company All Hands meetings, Q&A sessions with leadership, and company-wide barometer surveys, which has earned us recognition in Comparably (top 5 mid-sized employers), and Glassdoor (engaged employer).
Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
Our workforce reflects our commitment to building a diverse and inclusive environment: the average age of our employees is 35, women make up 35% of our team, and we proudly employ individuals from over 48 nationalities. In 2023, we published our inaugural Pay Equity Report, revealing a median gender pay gap of less than 1% in salary band placement.
Societal Involvement
Bloomreach offers employees 5 paid volunteer days each year, promoting active community involvement. This benefit empowers our team to make a difference, whether individually or collectively. In 2023, our employees generously donated $31,246 to regional charities and dedicated 211 days to various volunteer activities, supporting the communities around us.

Data Security & Privacy
We received our certification under the Data Protection Framework (DPF), which underscores Bloomreach’s ongoing commitment to data privacy and protection, ensuring the secure transfer of personal data from the European Union and the United Kingdom to the United States.
Business Ethics & Integrity
We reviewed, updated, or introduced critical policies in 2023, each designed to foster a culture of honesty and responsibility across all levels of the organization, ensuring that Bloomreach remains a trusted and ethical partner in the industry, such as Anti-Bribery Policy, Anti-Modern Slavery Policy, or Whistleblowing Policy.
Board of Directors
Our Board of Directors and Executive Leadership team drive Bloomreach’s strategy forward, ensuring that the company operates with integrity and follows ethical and legal business practices worldwide. In 2023, our executive leadership formed the Executive Information Security & Privacy Council to ensure that our security strategies are relevant and supported.
