How Bloomreach Delivers True End-to-End Personalization

Last year, we announced Bloomreach Clarity, a conversational shopping advisor powered by Loomi AI. Think of Clarity as the on-site equivalent of a rockstar in-store sales associate. After all, people buy from people, and Clarity provides the personalized guidance needed to recreate those special in-store conversations online — and at scale. 

Clarity can reach out to your customers at the right time to better understand their needs and preferences. Using its extensive ecommerce knowledge, Clarity can also answer any questions with precise product information and personalized recommendations. What’s more, you can customize Clarity’s interactions to align with your brand identity, as well as when and with whom it interacts.

We’ve already piloted Clarity with a number of our customers, and we can’t wait for you to implement personalized conversational shopping on your site in the near future. 

Fully AI-Piloted Marketing 

For marketers, turning their big ideas into reality has always been a challenge. For example, let’s say a brand wants to run a smart reactivation campaign to drive a second purchase. Sounds easy enough, right? But this comes with a long series of decisions and cross-functional tasks to manage: Who’s the audience? Is this a triggered campaign or a one-off? If it’s triggered, what’s the trigger condition? What channels should be included? What will the content look like? 

Once you have answers to these questions, then you have to work with the Design team for assets, the Data Engineering team to map data, and so on. All of this combined means it can take 4-6 weeks to go from ideation to launch — an inefficient and frustrating process. 

Our vision is to implement an AI agent in Bloomreach that can do all the heavy lifting — audience targeting, variant generation, testing, and more. So, looking back at our reactivation campaign example, after you log into Bloomreach, you’ll immediately see a unified view of all your key metrics. You can then enter a chat with Loomi AI, where it’ll ask you some questions to validate the decisions it’s making…and that’s it! 

Loomi AI will build an entire campaign for you to review. Simply remove or refine the campaign as needed, and then launch it. What used to take 4-6 weeks can now be accomplished in hours. 

Highly Relevant Search Personalization

When shoppers visit your site, 69% will go directly to the search bar. That means having a search bar that can deliver the right results will be crucial for growing revenue. However, as technology has evolved, so too have consumer habits. Customers now expect to be able to search with natural language instead of simple keywords in their hunt for deeply personal results. 

That’s what we’re achieving with Loomi Search+. By combining our semantic search capabilities with LLM-based vector search, we can now offer a truly hybrid vector search. Our underlying algorithms have been re-engineered with the latest LLMs and vector embedding models from Google and NVIDIA for more precise search results — even with long or complex queries. 

Additionally, Clarity will be seamlessly integrated into Bloomreach Discovery so customers can get conversational guidance as they search. We’re also using our customer data engine to power our search with Bloomreach Engagement’s first-party data, resulting in richer data driving more personalized product discovery. 

For example, let’s say a customer goes to a mattress website and searches for a “mattress that’s good for back pain.” Loomi Search+ shows products that are good for back pain (along with relevant mattress toppers). Then, because we know the customer is also part of the eco-conscious audience segment (based on their browsing and purchase history), Loomi Search+ will rank mattresses made of organic materials higher in the search results. Clarity also steps in during this process to provide additional information that can help the customer know what mattress qualities can help with back pain. 

Historically, a merchandiser would have to manually tag every product that’s good for back pain, as well as the ones that are made of organic materials. This time-consuming process would have to be repeated for every segment and attribute the merchandiser wanted to prioritize. Now, Loomi AI does all of it automatically.
