One of the biggest factors in choosing a new technology is the price. While Bloomreach pricing is customized, the logic is consistent across every product — it comes down to your business size, the products and packages you choose, and the expected volume of communications.
At Bloomreach, we serve brands at very different scales, from growing mid-market retailers to global enterprises, and pricing is built to reflect that range fairly. In this post, we’ll dig deeper into how exactly our pricing quotes are determined.
Your Size Sets the Tier
The starting point for pricing is your scale. We look at two core metrics, measured as a rolling three-month average:
- Monthly unique visitors (MUVs): The number of unique individuals interacting with your site or app each month. The three-month lagging average sizes your tier to your peak traffic period, so you’re covered when you need it most.
- Billable profiles: The customer records in your database (contacts with an email address, phone number, or other identifier), measured as a daily average across the calendar month.
Whichever metric is higher determines your tier. Anonymous visitor records don’t count toward your profile metric; only contacts with an email address, phone number, or a persistent customer identifier do.
Your pricing is tied to your actual business size, not how many seats your team needs or how many features you switch on. Two brands of the same size pay the same whether they run a team of three or thirty, and both get better rates as their customer base grows.
Choose Your Packages and Modules
From there, you choose the products, packages, and modules that fit your use case. Here are the products we currently offer:
Marketing Automation
Our marketing automation product brings together customer data, 13+ channels, and Loomi to power personalized experiences across the entire customer journey:
- Email marketing: Triggered and batch campaigns, A/B testing, personalization, and deliverability support
- Mobile messaging: SMS, MMS, RCS, WhatsApp, and push notifications
- Web personalization: Weblayers, dynamic content, and A/B testing on-site
- App personalization: In-app messaging, push, and app inbox
- Ad optimization: Paid media activation using your first-party data
- Extensions: External API and webhook integrations
You can start with the channels you need (such as email only) and expand over time without replatforming or starting from scratch.
For teams that want everything, we also offer a bundled marketing automation package that includes all channels in a single SKU.

Search
Our search and product discovery product is priced around three fundamentals: the capabilities you need, the size of your product catalog, and how often our algorithms are called over APIs.
You choose the experiences you deploy: search, categories, recommendations, SEO, and content experiences. Pricing is based on the scale at which those experiences run. That means your indexed product count (documents) and your annual API call volume both shape your quote.
Standard and premium configurations are available for teams that need more advanced AI, ranking control, and merchandising capabilities. AI is built into both: the standard configuration includes core relevance and ranking intelligence, while the premium configuration adds deeper personalization, advanced merchandising controls, and more sophisticated recommendation models.
Loomi Conversational Agent
Loomi’s conversational agent, embedded directly on your site, uses deep product catalog expertise and real-time customer context to guide shoppers from browsing to purchase. Pricing is tier-based and scales with your monthly unique visitor volume.
Loomi Marketing Agent
Loomi marketing agent is an AI agent for autonomous campaign execution, and it works differently from the Loomi features already included in every plan. Where standard capabilities like send time optimization and product recommendations run automatically in the background, Loomi’s marketing agent takes a goal and orchestrates the full campaign from scratch: audiences built from live behavioral data, personalized email and SMS content, timing, exit conditions, and A/B variants, all from a single plain-English prompt.
Priced as an add-on, it scales with your billable profile volume with no per-campaign fee.
Communications and Usage
Beyond the platform fee, some channels include communications capacity based on how much you expect to send. The platform gives you the system and capabilities, and the communications capacity reflects how much you plan to use it.
- Email: You commit to an annual send volume, sized to your typical sending behavior. The more you commit, the lower your per-send rate.
- Transactional email: This is included within the email marketing package rather than sold as a separate feature, and transactional sends draw from the same overall email sending plan.
- Mobile messaging: Rather than committing to a fixed message count, you commit an annual spend wallet across countries and channels. If you planned for SMS but your audience responds better to WhatsApp, you can shift that budget without renegotiating your contract.
In practice, most customers send well under their committed volume. The allowances are sized to match realistic sending patterns and keep your costs predictable.
What’s Included Across Every Plan: Support
Every Bloomreach plan comes with support, so you’ll never feel lost navigating the platform. Here’s the support you can expect:
- Dedicated Customer Success Manager: A named contact who knows your account and stays invested in your results
- Standard support: Direct access to our technical team with documented SLAs
- Onboarding: Hands-on guidance from integration through go-live
- Documentation and training: In-depth technical docs, best practice sessions, and ongoing learning resources
What’s Included Across Every Plan: Loomi
Loomi is our agentic platform, and it powers every Bloomreach product with intelligence, personalization, and optimization.

On our search product, Loomi powers the core experience: relevance ranking, 1:1 personalization, and real-time recommendations are built into how search results are generated and displayed.
For marketing automation, Loomi’s standard capabilities are already included in every tier, including optimal send time and personalized recommendations.
For marketing teams that want to go further, we offer Loomi add-ons:
- Audience optimization: Predictive segments and targeting to reach the right customers before they act
- Loomi analytics: Ask questions in plain language, get answers in seconds
- Loomi web personalization: Contextual personalization for on-site experiences, experiments, and recommendations
- Loomi journey personalization: AI-driven content, timing, and channel selection across email, SMS, push, and more
- Enterprise AI bundle: The full suite for organizations running sophisticated AI use cases at scale
Premium add-ons are priced by tier, just like the base modules.
Why No Per-Seat or Feature-Gated Pricing?
Many marketing tools charge per seat (per user login) or gate features behind plan tiers, meaning you pay more to access features as you scale. The problem is that both of these approaches create friction:
- Per-seat pricing penalizes collaboration. The moment you involve a data analyst, a CRM specialist, and an email marketer, costs jump.
- Feature-gated pricing means the capabilities you actually need for mature campaigns (predictive segmentation, A/B testing, advanced analytics) are often in the most expensive plan, even if you’re not a large brand.
Bloomreach pricing scales with your business size and usage. Loomi’s core features are included at every tier. The premium AI packages are there for teams that want to go deeper.
How More Modules Lead to More Value
One thing the pricing model doesn’t make obvious on paper: The value of each module continues to grow when they work together.
When search and marketing automation run on the same platform, they share the same customer data, so a customer who browses hiking boots on-site becomes a segment. That segment then improves email personalization, and the email engagement feeds back into ad suppression. Meanwhile, the search data helps refine what gets promoted in campaigns. None of that is possible when you’re stitching together four separate tools with disconnected data.
This is the return you get when Bloomreach apps and agents work together. Every additional module builds on what you’re already getting.
For example, On the Beach created automated price drop alerts on its site to reengage customers. When a customer browses a travel package and the price falls within seven days, they automatically receive a personalized email. A validated split test showed that this campaign drove 362% higher revenue per visit and a 95% higher click-through rate. After the full rollout, On the Beach saw a 587% higher conversion rate than the project average.
HMV also saw success by combining first-party CRM data and AI-generated segments. Loomi used this data to automatically surface new lookalike audiences for paid media targeting, and then continuously optimized these segments as new data emerged. As a result, the brand drove a 14% lift in revenue and 34% more impressions.
Both of these success stories were a result of the brands running multiple Bloomreach modules on shared data. While it’s perfectly valid to start with only email, just keep in mind that revenue will continue to grow as more modules get added in.

What Happens if You Grow?
Growth is a good problem to have, and our pricing structure is built for it.
If you’re approaching your communications volume or your usage metrics start exceeding your tier, you have three options:
- Optimize your usage: Better targeting and personalization often reduce send volume while improving results. etabletka.sk, for example, lifted click-to-open rates by 73% after switching to AI-driven segmentation, and cut automated campaign volume by 40% in the process.
- Purchase a volume increase: For email and mobile, you can buy additional send volume for a specific channel without changing your tier. This is useful if one channel is spiking while everything else holds steady.
- Move up a tier: If your business is growing across the board (more visitors, more profiles, higher sending volumes), moving to a higher tier is often the cleanest and most cost-effective option. It adjusts your platform fee, allowances, and per-send rates in one step.
There’s no interruption to your marketing while you work through the options. If none of the three paths above are addressed, a platform overage fee applies. In practice, most customers resolve it before that point by optimizing usage or moving up a tier.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much does Bloomreach cost?
Bloomreach pricing is customized to your business. Your quote is built from three things: your business size (which sets your tier), the modules you choose, and how much you commit to send. The per-unit cost decreases as you commit to higher volumes.
Is Bloomreach free?
No. There’s no free tier, but you only pay for the modules you use and can start with a single channel like email. Contact our team to understand what entry-level pricing looks like for your business size.
What is Bloomreach pricing based on?
Pricing is primarily shaped by two core size metrics: monthly unique visitors (MUVs) and billable profiles, plus the packages you select and the communications capacity you expect to use. Other Bloomreach products are scoped based on the capabilities and scale relevant to those use cases.
Can I only buy the modules I need?
Yes. You can start with a single channel (email only, for example) and add mobile messaging, web personalization, or other modules as you grow. There’s no all-or-nothing minimum.
What happens if my usage exceeds my plan?
Your marketing doesn’t stop. You can optimize your usage, purchase additional volume for a specific channel, or move up a tier for better long-term rates. Your account rep will work with you to find the right path.
Does Bloomreach include AI in every plan?
Yes. AI is built into every Bloomreach product via our Loomi platform. For marketing, Loomi’s standard capabilities include optimal send-time and recommendation models. For search, Loomi powers core relevance ranking, 1:1 personalization, and real-time recommendations by default. More advanced AI features are available as premium add-ons.
How long does it take to get started after signing?
For marketing automation, most customers are actively running campaigns within three months. For search, implementation takes around six weeks, with business impact typically visible in under four weeks. Timelines vary based on data complexity and internal resource availability. Your onboarding team will scope this during kickoff.
