Hippo sponsored the Ecommerce Open 2016 and raised over 2000 EUR for charity.
An unusual sight at the E-Commerce Open, the annual golf tournament in Munich where influencers and decision makers from the e-commerce industry meet. Besides normal golf balls, bright orange Hippo’s were flying through the Bavarian skies. At the ‘Lakeshot’, sponsored by Hippo, contestants could try and drive a Hippo into a designated hole in the middle of a pond. For 5 euro’s, each contestant got three Hippos to try. The revenue of the event was handed over for charity to the childs home AtemReich in the Munich area. In total, more than 2.000 euro’s were collected.
The E-Commerce Open an annual event, organised by Commercetools, the cloud-based enterprise e-commerce platform and Hippo technology partner. Commercetools can be fully integrated with Hippo CMS to build best-of-breed e-commerce sites with real-time personalization.
