Bloomreach Experiences Record Growth and Engagement During Holiday E-Commerce Peak Shopping Season
MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA, January 25, 2022 – Bloomreach, the world’s #1 Commerce Experience Cloud, today announced results from its customers' peak holiday season, during which e-commerce sales continued to rise and usage of Bloomreach solutions saw significant growth over the prior year. Across a customer base of more than 850 global brands, Bloomreach supported businesses with uninterrupted service through its Engagement, Discovery, and Content product pillars.
In total, 47 billion events were tracked through Bloomreach Engagement during the holiday season, a 47% year-over-year (YoY) increase.
Businesses sent out three billion emails through Engagement during the month of November and 200 million emails on Black Friday alone, a 36% increase over Black Friday 2020.
Push notifications sent from the platform experienced a 426% YoY increase, with 1.4 billion notifications sent in November and 125 million sent on Black Friday.
Bloomreach Discovery traffic experienced 3,000 queries per second (QPS) within US data centers alone, a significant increase over last year when Bloomreach saw 3,000 QPS in both US and EU data centers combined.
Discovery customers experienced no disruptions or delays during major holiday events including Black Friday and Cyber Monday, successfully processing approximately 750 million user events.
Throughout the peak holiday season, Bloomreach Content customers experienced more than 1,300 unique customer engagements per second as consumers turned to e-commerce for their shopping needs.
Despite the heavy volume of traffic to businesses’ sites, Bloomreach ensured customers experienced no downtime or delayed performance.
