Hippo had a need for new hires because of the growth the company is going through, mostly in North America. Tjeerd Brenninkmeijer, CEO Hippo: “The international focus on Hippo CMS is growing rapidly. Recently we opened a new office in Canada. We are delighted that people from home and abroad come to Hippo and apply to join our open source business. This gives us many good CVs and we see that more people successfully completed the development assessment.”
The 16 new Hippo employees come from different countries, but all opt for Hippo because of the good position in the (international) open source market and open working environment. The fact that Hippo is growing internationally also plays a role in their choice.
