Innovative brands share their digital strategy with the digital experience community
AMSTERDAM — September 24, 2019 — Bloomreach Connect, the Digital Experience Conference for the Bloomreach community and other DX practitioners, returns to Amsterdam on October 29. Leading businesses such as football club Inter Milan, financial services innovator ING bank, experience gift pioneer Virgin Experience Days, and others will be presenting how they are transforming their digital experiences in the famous Muziekgebouw in Amsterdam.
This year’s keynote will be delivered by ING. This innovative Dutch bank has successfully used a digital first strategy to expand their business into other European countries, offering modern banking options to a rapidly growing number of consumers in countries like Spain, France and Germany via highly usable and personal digital experiences. Yzelle Viljoen, Head of Public Web at ING-DiBa, the German branch of ING, will take the stage to explain how they are leveraging a modern, API-first architecture to connect with their customers wherever and however they like.
Other speakers include Travis Perkins, the UK’s largest provider of building materials and home improvement products, GrandVision, a global optical retailing giant that is represented with 30+ brands in 44 countries, Swiss based natural cosmetics and pharmaceuticals innovator Weleda, and the UK’s leading weather data provider The Met Office that provides forecasts and reports on everything from daily regional weather fluctuations to global climate change to millions of people in the UK and beyond.
“Any business that wants to stay relevant to its audience today, be it in B2B or B2C, has to rethink its digital strategy to keep up with technology trends and changing customer behaviour,” said Bloomreach CEO and co-founder Raj De Datta. “At Bloomreach Connect, we will showcase how businesses can drive innovation and agility by adapting new, modern and scalable solutions that are based on APIs and microservices. This way they can dramatically improve their customer experience, in many cases even without a complete IT overhaul.”
Besides the customer speakers, the event will feature keynotes from Bloomreach CEO Raj De Datta, Chief Strategy Officer Brian Walker, and Chief Product Officer Arje Cahn. Bloomreach Connect will also feature several breakout tracks for a more technical audience. The topics covered by these tech tracks include: Headless Commerce for developers, The new Bloomreach SDK for Javascript, Security Configuration Architecture, Content Search – This is how it works under the hood, and more. The day will be closed with an exclusive sneak peek at the Bloomreach product roadmap followed by the brAwards ceremony where the Bloomreach partner and customer of the year award winners will be revealed.
