Powering a site with BloomReach search and merchandising service is sufficiently straight forward once you learn the underpinnings of these major sources of information it uses:
- Product feed
- APIs and their responses
In the technical session, you will take deep dive into each of the sections and learn inter-connectivity among all the sources. We will use hands-on training for pixel generation, walk-thru a sample product feed and how the feed metadata is used to identify facets and so on.
Tracking site visitors’ journey through different pages, product purchase information is important to generate properly ranked results. Pixel information is therefore used by BloomReach search and merchandising algorithms. Learn how pixels are triggered on different pages, how events are captured and their significance for product ranking.
Product catalog, comprising information for each product and perhaps all its variants, is one of the critical information sources used by BloomReach algorithms. Learn how to conceptualize product taxonomy, provide the feed to BloomReach and then how that information is used to generate facets, API responses.
API Calls, Response
All the information received via feed, pixels as well as rules configured in the dashboard is consumed by BloomReach algorithms to return search and category API calls. Learns details of the search and merchandizing APIs, their response in JSON format and important sections in the response data.
Training consists of ~4 hours delivered virtually or in person with the Customer trainer.
This training is intended for technical development team members.
