The Met Office selected the Hippo platform for its scalability, as well as its ability to integrate all backend systems easily. These powerful features allow the Met Office to provide the most reliable localized weather information that keeps airlines flying safely and on-time, is a vital influence on military operations, and allows the general public to plan, prepare for, and enjoy their day to the fullest.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe wanted a DX platform that would work with our agile approach to technology development.\u201d stated Owen Tribe, Head of Digital at the Met Office, \u201cHippo has a highly scalable capacity, and can integrate with our complex systems, it also allowed our teams at the Met Office to have autonomy over release changes.
