CEO & Co-Founder

Raj brought 10 years of enterprise and entrepreneurial experience with him when he co-founded BloomReach. Before launching the company, he was entrepreneur-in-residence at Mohr-Davidow Ventures. Prior to that, Raj served as Cisco’s director of product marketing and was on the founding team of telecom company FirstMark/LambdaNet, which grew to $80 million in run-rate revenue. Raj also worked in technology investment banking at Lazard Freres. He holds a bachelor of science in electrical engineering from Princeton University and an MBA from Harvard Business School. Christina Augustine

Chief Customer Officer

Christina leads BloomReach’s efforts to arm customers with the tools and knowledge they need to successfully compete in demanding markets. She is a leading thinker in e-commerce, having been a manager at Bain & Co., focused on technology, retail and strategy. Christina is an experienced computer programmer who has concentrated on site search, merchandising and payments. She helped found e-commerce teams at both Hewlett Packard and Walmart. Christina holds a bachelor’s in mathematics from Saint Mary’s College and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Tjeerd Brenninkmeijer

Tjeerd Brenninkmeijer

EVP of EMEA

Tjeerd overlooks BloomReach growth strategy, strategic alliances and operations in EMEA. Prior to BloomReach, he co-founded Hippo and charted the marketing strategy for 17 years, focusing on the lead to revenue process and seeing the company continuously double in revenue year-on-year. As a thought leader in the DX space, he is frequently featured in industry publications and as speaker at industry events. He regularly contributes to the Amsterdam tech community as a Startup Bootcamp mentor. Tjeerd holds a Master in Business Economics from the University of Amsterdam.

Taylor Browning

Taylor Browning

General Counsel

Taylor leads the global legal function at BloomReach. He has over 15 years of legal experience representing high tech companies in Silicon Valley and the San Francisco Bay Area. Prior to joining BloomReach, he founded and grew the legal team at Enphase Energy, where he steered the company through its initial public offering and managed its compliance program and expansion efforts. Prior to establishing Enphase’s legal department, Taylor represented emerging growth and technology companies in mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt financing, and general corporate and governance matters. He holds a bachelor’s degree in history and a law degree from the University of California, Berkeley.

CTO BloomReach Experience

Arjé is the brains behind BloomReach Experience. He has a record of building groundbreaking software in his role as co-founder and CTO of Hippo CMS, which is regularly recognized by top analyst firms for its technological excellence. He has earned his stripes in the open-source world as an elected Member of the Apache Software Foundation in 2007, after becoming an Apache Cocoon Committer in 2005. He is a sought-after speaker at conferences on web experience management and open source. He supports the growing Dutch tech scene as a mentor at Rockstart.

Rich leads the team that is responsible for helping customers accelerate and optimize growth and traffic using BloomReach’s Organic technology. As a marketing technology veteran, he has a proven track record of founding and growing successful services teams while at Oracle, Responsys, Merkle, Epsilon, and DoubleClick. With 15-plus years of experience, he’s helped leading companies navigate the ever-changing marketing landscape, while building successful marketing programs and improving results. Rich holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Wyoming and an MBA from the University of Colorado, Boulder.

DJ has assembled an innovative sales team that is expert at demonstrating the value that BloomReach’s technology brings to the markets it serves. He is a tested sales executive, who ran the Adobe Digital Marketing Enterprise sales team. As a vice president at Adobe, he led the division from an early stage initiative into a $150-million-per-year revenue machine. DJ also headed sales teams at Offermatica, ATG and Verity. He holds a bachelor’s of economics from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.

Prem sets vision and strategy for our global engineering organization. Balancing and prioritizing multiple teams across machine-learning, infrastructure, and front-end user experience, Prem drives execution across Organic and Personalization products. With over 15 years of experience in building high-performing teams and creating differentiated products in competitive markets of advertising and personalization, he has seen companies from early product ideation through to exit, as he did with Adap.tv at $400+M. Prem graduated with a degree in Engineering from IIT Madras.

Chief Product Officer - Personalization and Organic

Will leads the teams creating BloomReach’s Personalization and Organic product vision and plotting the initiatives that ensure customers’ ongoing success. He has a record of dramatically increasing revenue at companies where he’s worked, including Clearwell Systems and Juniper Networks. Will built early-stage tech companies at Advent International and as a strategy consultant at the Boston Consulting Group. He holds a bachelor’s in economics and government from Dartmouth College and an MBA from Harvard Business School, where he was a George F. Baker Scholar and a Siebel Scholar.

Jeroen leads BloomReach’s overall financial strategy as well as its people and IT teams. Prior to BloomReach, Jeroen served as the CEO of Hippo, where he grew the company from a start-up to an international industry-leading software company, with a successful U.S. market entry. He has built a strong management team and a thriving company culture which emphasizes openness and a non-hierarchical structure. Jeroen has a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Amsterdam.

Ajay Agarwal

Ajay Agarwal

Ajay represents Bain Capital Ventures on the BloomReach Board. Ajay joined Bain in 2003 to focus on early stage mobile, internet, and software investments. Previously, he spent more than seven years at Trilogy Software. As head of sales and marketing, Ajay increased Trilogy’s annual revenue to $300 million. He led product expansion into new areas, such as enterprise pricing and enterprise incentive management. Before Trilogy, Ajay was a consultant with McKinsey & Co. He has a bachelor’s in electrical engineering from Stanford University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Ashutosh Garg

Ashutosh Garg

Ashu is a guru of all things search, with years of information-retrieval, machine-learning and search experience. He worked as a staff scientist at Google, where he participated in eight product launches. Before that, Ashu worked at IBM Research. He is a prolific publisher and inventor. Ashu earned a bachelor’s in technology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, and a doctorate in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. Ashu has won numerous awards, including best thesis at IIT, an IBM Fellowship and outstanding researcher at the University of Illinois.

Peter Nieh

Peter Nieh

Peter is a founder of Lightspeed Venture Partners, covering the areas of cleantech, software and the internet. He has 14 years of venture capital experience and seven years of operating experience. Before Lightspeed, Peter worked in business development and product marketing at General Magic, a startup that developed an early mobile communication device. Peter also managed Acer’s portable PC business in North America, where he launched the company’s first laptops. Before Acer, Peter was a strategy consultant at Bain & Co. He worked at Apple while an undergraduate at Stanford University. Peter holds a bachelor’s in electrical engineering, a bachelor’s in economics and an MBA from Stanford.

Marcus Ryu

Marcus Ryu

Marcus, who co-founded Guidewire in 2001, is the company’s president and CEO. He successfully led the company through an IPO and has built it into an enterprise that serves insurers in 25 countries. Before Guidewire, Marcus was vice president for strategy at Ariba and an engagement manager at McKinsey & Co. He serves as an independent director of Opower. He holds bachelor’s from both Princeton University and New College, Oxford University, where he was a Marshall Scholar.

Ravi Viswanathan

Ravi Viswanathan

Ravi helps lead New Enterprise Associates, Inc.’s technology venture growth equity investments. He serves on or has served on a number of boards, including Boulder Wind Power, Braintree, Deeya Energy and Desire2Learn. Before joining NEA, Ravi worked at Goldman, Sachs & Co. and Raychem Corp. He received an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a doctorate in chemical engineering from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Ravi also received a bachelor’s in bioengineering from the University of Pennsylvania.

Kirk Bowman

Kirk Bowman

Before joining Accel in 2011, Kirk was a sales executive at EqualLogic, which was acquired by Dell in 2008. Kirk held sales executive and general management positions at several companies, including VMware, Inktomi, Model N, Object Design, and Parametric Technology. Kirk currently serves on the boards of a number of private companies and advises several others on sales strategy. He is a lecturer at the Stanford Graduate School of Business, teaching a course on building and managing professional sales organizations. He received a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering from Northwestern University.

Alfred Chuang

Alfred Chuang

Alfred is founder and CEO of Magnet Systems, a cloud-based enterprise software company. He was a founder of BEA Systems, where he became chairman and CEO before the company was sold to Oracle in 2008. Alfred also worked at Sun Microsystems for more than nine years. He pioneered and prototyped the implementation of the TCP/IP network on the IBM PC platform. He received a bachelor’s in computer science from the University of San Francisco and a master’s in computer science from the University of California, Davis.

Paul Dillon

Paul Dillon

Paul is vice president of business and corporate development at Porch. He has consulted with Internet Retailer Top 100 companies and other leading retailers. Paul led the online marketing for Sears.com and Kmart.com. He worked in a number of senior roles at Microsoft, most recently director of product management for Bing commercial search and shopping. He worked at Rodman & Renshaw Capital Group and Ernst & Young. Paul holds a bachelor’s in business from Indiana University Kelley School of Business and an MBA in finance from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Chris Dixon

Chris Dixon

Chris is a general partner at Andreessen Horowitz. He served as the co-founder and CEO of Hunch, which was acquired by eBay. Before Hunch, he co-founded Founder Collective, an early-stage seed venture fund. He was also co-founder and CEO of SiteAdvisor and co-head of R&D at Arbitrage. Chris is also a personal investor in early-stage technology companies, including Skype, Foursquare, Kickstarter, Canvas, Stack Overflow, TrialPay, Invite Media and others. He has a bachelor’s and a master’s from Columbia University, where he majored in philosophy, and an MBA from Harvard University.

Iggy Fanlo

Iggy Fanlo

Iggy is co-founder and CEO of Ourdata. He held executive positions at AdBrite, where he was CEO, and Shopping.com. His tenure as chief revenue officer at Shopping.com ran from the pre-revenue days to its 2004 intial public offering. It was eventually sold to eBay. Before launching his technology career, Iggy spent 15 years on Wall Street with Morgan Stanley and J.P. Morgan. As a managing director at both firms, Iggy held various positions. He holds a bachelor’s in chemical engineering from Princeton University.

Vince Monical

Vince is a former Google executive who led the emerging platforms team, including Google Mobile Ads, Local Ads, Google Checkout, and Google Analytics. He was a founder and president of Flutter/Betfair, a sports exchange trading platform on the London Stock Exchange. He also founded GroupPulse and has investments in over a dozen startups. Vince helped build Bain & Co.’s private equity group. He received a bachelor’s in finance from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Indranil Guha

Indranil Guha

Indy, who joined Bain Capital Ventures in 2007, invests in early and mid-stage internet, mobile and software companies. He works with entrepreneurs on everything from acquisitions to management hires. Indy was an early product and engagement manager at BloomReach, working on key go-to-market issues, such as traffic attribution and pricing. Previously, Indy was a strategy consultant at the Monitor Group, specializing in serving technology clients. He holds bachelor’s degrees in finance and international relations from the University of Pennsylvania. He received an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Stephanie is CEO of Vida Health. She served as an entrepreneur-in-residence at Kleiner, Perkins, Caufield and Byers and was vice president of commerce and payments at Google. She served as senior vice president of eBay North America and Global Product. Stephanie was general manager, vice president of PayPal Merchant Services. She ran eBay Motors and eBay Asia Pacific and Latin America. She was a co-founder of PlanetRx.com and worked at Intel, AOL, Firefly and Alex Brown. She holds a bachelor’s and a master’s from Brandeis University and an MBA from Harvard University.

Alex Rampell

Alex Rampell

Alex is a general partner at Andreessen Horowitz. He is also a co-founder and former CEO of TrialPay. He co-founded FraudEliminator, an anti-phishing company that merged with SiteAdvisor and was acquired by McAfee. He is a frequent writer on e-commerce and advertising topics for TechCrunch. Alex is an active angel investor in Silicon Valley and served on the board of friend.ly, which was acquired by Facebook, and Backstage Technologies, acquired by RealNetworks. He holds a bachelor’s in applied mathematics and computer science from Harvard University, where he also served as a computer science teaching fellow.

Dale Nitschke

Dale Nitschke

Dale is a managing partner with the Ovative/group, working in digital business strategy, e-commerce and in-store digital experience. He worked for Target for 23 years, including as president of Target.com. He built the online business from its startup stage to a $1-billion-plus operation. He also oversaw the building of the Target guest database, which delivered marketing and consumer insights to the overall enterprise. He serves on the boards of Alice.com and Bellacor.com and on the advisory boards of 8th Bridge, 44Blocks and the Brave New Workshop.

Vibhu is CEO of Edmodo. He was the founder of Root-One, a startup in the education space focused on problems in language literacy. He has previously held positions with Google Research, Xerox PARC, Stanford Center for the Study of Language and Information, Carnegie Mellon Language Technologies Institute and Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, Bombay. He has been an advisor, investor, founder and friend to several startups, including BloomReach.

Jim Kolotouros

Jim is a director of distribution partnerships at Google. Before Google, he worked at Intel and Financial Engines. While at Google, Jim has negotiated and managed some of the company’s most prominent partnerships. He has written business school cases for the late Andy Grove, Intel’s former chairman and CEO. The cases discussed the rising prominence of digital media in the entertainment and technology industries. Jim, who interned for the late Sen. Edward M. Kennedy, holds a bachelor’s and an MBA from Stanford University.

Jeff Jordan

Jeff is a general partner at Andreessen Horowitz who manages portfolio companies and deal flow. He’s on the boards of Airbnb, Pinterest, zulily, Instacart, Zoosk and others. He served as CEO of OpenTable and president of PayPal, after working as senior vice president and general manager of eBay North America. He was chief financial officer of Hollywood Entertainment and president of Reel.com. He also worked as senior vice president of finance for The Disney Stores. Jordan holds a bachelor’s in political science and psychology from Amherst College and an MBA from Stanford University.

Jeff Epstein

Jeff is an operating partner at Bessemer Venture Partners. He served as executive vice president and chief financial officer at Oracle and as CFO at several public and private companies, including DoubleClick, King World Productions and Nielsen’s media measurement and information group. Earlier in his career, Epstein was an investment banker at The First Boston Corporation. Epstein is a member of the board of directors of Priceline.com. He holds a bachelor’s from Yale University and an MBA from Stanford University.

Scott Sandell

Scott Sandell

Scott is head of New Enterprise Associates, Inc.’s technology investing practice. He has led investments in companies like Bloom Energy, Salesforce.com, Tableau Software, WebEx and Workday. Scott has been named to the Forbes Midas List several times. Sixteen technology companies in his portfolio have completed public offerings or mergers. Scott was a product manager at Microsoft and the first salesperson at C-ATS Software. Scott began his career at the Boston Consulting Group. He holds a bachelor’s in engineering sciences from Dartmouth College and an MBA from Stanford University.
