As a BloomReach Data Analyst Intern, you will analyze how BloomReach’s products are driving results and help craft visualizations to demonstrate that value to our customers. You will be a key member of the Product team at BloomReach, and in the course of your work, identify areas of product improvement, extract marketing insights, and build tools to improve the efficiency of our business team. You should be scrappy, hands-on and passionate about helping us deliver value and drive success for our customers, and using those learnings to improve our product and business processes. You will be working with some of the top online and mobile retailers in the world, cutting-edge technology and world-class engineers.
Obtain a deep knowledge of how the BloomReach suite of products work and identify areas of improvement
Build tools and automate common analyses that help the business team more effectively and efficiently communicate results to customers
Analyze cross-customer data for insights that can be translated into signals; work closely with the product and engineering teams to build prototypes and incorporate these signals into the product
Communicate results and insights effectively to product, engineering and management teams
BA/BS degree in engineering or a quantitative major such as Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or Computer Science, or in progress.
Experience in Python and Linux shell scripting and text processing. Experience in Java and statistical models a plus.
Analytical skills and background in spreadsheets and SQL. Experience with Google Analytics or Adobe SiteCatalyst (Omniture) a plus.
- Strong organizational and project management skills; excellent verbal/written communication skills including presentations.
